Last Waterkeeper clip

(probably) the last Waterkeeper clip, focusing on the people and their communities who made us feel welcome.

Hope you like it!

It moves, thus it must be alive

After two months of intense work to make the programme happen, all three of us are back to our own routines. During these two months, we made a film, facilitated for more than 600 people in and around Suleimany, and we have tried to promote a cleaner environment.

At present, both Julius and Zoilo are more in a supporting role whilst the programme relies on the Nabils, Jantines, Shoxans, Annas… and all who support Nature.

Best wishes from us!

‘The Waterkeeper’ –the film.

Friends, supporters, artists, nature lovers and all of you who also believe in the transformative power of the Arts, here is a little something from us along with the generous support from a handful of people and institutions.

We hope you will enjoy it (and if you do, please share it)!

Julius, Nabil and Zoilo –The Waterkeeper Team.

Last facilitation with the TWT

Today, The Waterkeeper Team facilitated together for the last time, as the Team goes back to their routine. However, the real Waterkeeper -Nabil Musa, will carry on with the programme as well as his duties as the Iraq Upper Tigris Waterkeeper (effective water resource planning; water quality protection; education and outreach).

In the morning we visited Suleimany's Fine Arts College where we screened 'The Waterkeeper', followed by a Q and A plus a (shorter than usual) version of a session. The reaction seemed positive and we gathered some valuable feedback from our fellow artists.

Later, we facilitated along Kurdish Save the Children again, where we were made welcomed, understood and appreciated. The film appears interesting, the facilitation makes the dialogue dynamic and all, children, adults and facilitators, have the opportunity to share a special event together.

Many thanks to all our hosts.
Back soon,
TWT
